Simulated Altitude Training for Hire

The Alta 100 simulators are available for hire in the following countries:

 

• New Zealand
• United Kingdom
• Other countries by request

 

Full training on use and benefits of Simulated Altitude Training will be given.

 

Hire for one to three weeks depending on your requirements.

 

Equitec's trained technicians will firstly design a programme relating to your horse's individual needs. Using Equitec’s Alta 100 does not interfere with the horses’ normal training regime.

 

The ALTA 100 delivers oxygen-reduced air (hypoxic air) to horses through masks placed over their muzzles, this method of Intermittent Hypoxic Training (IHT) alternates the intake of hypoxic air with normal (ambient) air during the course of a training session. This is the most effective way to get the physical benefits of altitude training.
